At the March 10, 2026 Caroline County Board of Supervisors meeting, the Board officially recognized Colonel Paul Perry upon his retirement by adopting a resolution in his honor which concluded with the following:

"NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Caroline County Board of Supervisors hereby commends and extends its deep appreciation to Colonel Paul Perry for his 27 years of exemplary service to the citizens of Caroline County and extends its very best wishes for a long, happy, and healthy retirement."

Col. Perry and his wife, Angie, are pictured with Board members Jeff Black, Clay Forehand, Floyd Thomas, Nancy Long, Reggie Underwood, and Jeff Sili.

Congratulations once again to Col. Perry!

It was a bittersweet day at the CDF today as we celebrated the career of Col. Paul Perry, our soon to be retired Superintendent! Lots of friends and family - employees, Authority members, and many retirees - came to wish him well as he retires after 30 years in corrections! We will miss you, Paul Perry! Don’t be a stranger! 😊🥹😭👏💫🎉🇺🇸

Congratulations to the CDF's newest Employee of the Quarter - Officer Mark Washington! He is a true team player and is always looking to bring out the best in himself and those around him!

Col. Perry recognized Ofc. Washington and some of our "behind the scenes" employees at a brunch in late October. Big thanks to our Finance team, Mr. Richard Sparaco and Mrs. Teresa Sullivan, our HR Generalist, Mrs. Dawn Chinault, and our Housekeeping staff, Mrs. Brenda Anderson and Ms. Pat Coleman!
