Yesterday our Safe Seats Safe Kids team was recognized in Lexington, KY with the 2026 Governor’s Child Passenger Safety Team of the Year Award from the Kentucky Office of Highway Safety.

This award is a tremendous honor and a reflection of the dedication, passion, and hard work our team pours into protecting South Central Kentucky’s youngest passengers. From car seat education and installations to community outreach and partnerships, our team works every day to make sure children are as safe as possible on every ride. And that adults and caregivers are equipped with adequate car seat safety knowledge.

Thank you to the Governor’s Office and Kentucky Office of Highway Safety for this incredible recognition. Also a huge thank you to every partner, especially Med Center Health as our title sponsor, volunteer, and family who helps make this work possible.

Today, we’re celebrating National Nonprofit Day!

At Community Education, we’re proud to be part of something bigger than ourselves—bringing people together, creating opportunities, supporting families, and helping our community grow.

None of this would be possible without the incredible staff, volunteers, partners, schools, families, and supporters who believe in what we do and help make it happen every day.

From after-school programs and summer activities to lifelong learning, community events, car seat safety, and so much more, we’re grateful for every opportunity to make a difference in Bowling Green and Warren County.

We were honored to join Med Center Health in celebrating 100 years of caring for our community and the grand opening of the beautiful new High Street Tower this morning.

For a century, Med Center Health has been making a difference in the lives of families across our community, and we are so grateful to be part of that story through our partnership with the Safe Seats Safe Kids program. Together, we’re working to keep children safe and give families the resources and support they need to thrive as they transport their most valuable gifts.
