We finish the day with our staff nurse, Miss Vonica. Miss V has been a LPN for many years. She has been at Active Day about 2 years. I don’t know one single human that doesn’t adore Miss V! She is always professional and so, so caring. She takes the time to listen to our members, not just medical concerns but also anything they are worried about. She never complains and can light up a room. We are so fortunate to have Miss V on our medical team. She is the proud mom to a son that just graduated, as well as a devoted wife. Thank you Miss Vonica for being a great team player!

We end the week with our employee recognitions, but we always appreciate our staff and their dedication to our members!
Today we recognize our Program Manager/SCL Coordinator, April Geary. April is the mastermind of all our creative shenanigans around here! She puts so much thought, effort and time in making sure our members have a variety of activities and are engaged. She cares deeply about our members! A case manager recently commented how far one of our members have came, and April was quick to add that she knows he can accomplish even more and how excited she was to see him reach his goals❤️. April is a mom to 2 fur babies and happily married. Thanks for all you do, April.

We end the day with our Jessica. She is the one you’ll find with her 7 brew cup in tow. Jessica is a long time CNA. She’s tried a time or two to leave, but her heart always leads her back to us. Jessica knows our center like the back of her hand. She is thorough when it comes to our members. She tries to make sure our members feel loved and a little spoiled😉. She is a loving mom to her 4 children. We are fortunate to have Jessica on our team!

McKenna is a CNA here at Active Day of Bowling Green. She worked for Active Day before, had a beautiful daughter then returned to us last July. She’s expecting her 2nd daughter and we are all very pexcited! McKenna is very creative and helps with planning fun activities for our members. She is compassionate and very loving to those she works with here at Active Day. We are fortunate to have her on our team. Thanks for all you do McKenna❤️

As we continue our employee spotlight, today I introduce another new employee, Alley.
Alley is such a joy to work with. She jumps right in to help, all while keeping a positive attitude! She encourages our members and celebrates their accomplishments! Alley loves her family and stays busy with her daughter who is in the 3rd grade. So glad you are apart of our family, Alley❤️
