It's with enthusiasm that we would like to further introduce Crystal Braun to our practice!!

Crystal Braun, LCSW, earned both her Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work degrees from Western Kentucky University. She is a compassionate and down-to-earth therapist who enjoys working with adults age 30 and older. She provides a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients can speak openly, feel genuinely understood, and work through the challenges affecting their emotional well-being and relationships.

Crystal works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, mood disorders, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and complex emotional or behavioral patterns. Her approach is person-centered and trauma-informed, incorporating strategies from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and solution-focused therapy.

Crystal understands that change takes time and that therapy is not one-size-fits-all. She meets each person where they are, respects their individual pace, and works collaboratively with them to build greater self-awareness, emotional stability, confidence, and healthier relationships. Her goal is for every client to feel that therapy is a safe place where they are valued, respected, and never expected to face life’s difficulties alone.

Happy birthday to Samuel Louis McCoy from your parents, Julie and Charles McCoy! Our hearts still love you and think about you every day. See flier for posted information about the 13th annual Remembrance Event.

Happy Birthday to Samuel Louis McCoy!! He would be enterting his TEENAGE years!!! We are asking you to celebrate his short, but impactful life today. Some options are registering for our PAIL Awareness Event (qr code on the flier), sharing our page or posts for others to follow us (the third part of our mission is educating the community), make a donation to help us with our event (every dollar goes to help a family as we have no paid members), whispering happy birthday to him, or enjoy a piece of cake (we will be). We are so grateful to everyone who helps us fulfill his mission!

We are proud to announce that Julie McCoy, LCSW has completed all training necessary to be listed on the American Diabetes Associaion Mental Health Professional Directory! Living with Type 1 diabetes herself helps her see things not only professionally but creates personal empathy for day to day struggles with an invisible illness. Congratulations Julie!

For those of you taking summer classes or any other type of exams.....Test anxiety is more common than many people realize. 📚

Exams and academic pressure can create stress, fear, and self-doubt. Feeling anxious before a test does not mean you are unprepared or incapable — it means you are human.

✨ Ways to manage test anxiety:
• Study in smaller sections over time
• Take breaks while studying
• Practice deep breathing before exams
• Get enough sleep the night before
• Avoid negative self-talk

Your worth is not defined by one grade or one test.

Healing is not always linear. 💙

Grief can come from many different kinds of loss — losing a loved one, a friendship, a relationship, or even a version of yourself. Some days may feel lighter, while others may feel overwhelming. Both are part of the healing process.

✨ Give yourself permission to:
• Feel your emotions honestly
• Rest when needed
• Lean on supportive people
• Take healing one day at a time
• Understand that there is no “right” timeline for grief

You do not have to go through healing alone
