Labor Day weekend is the mark that summer is nearing an end. However, don't let this prevent you from going out and having fun. Well known in Ohio is the Fulton County Fair in Wauseon. Be sure to take some time with your family and go explore the fun things they have going on. The fair kicks off Labor Day weekend and continues for the week. What a great way to build memories and have fun!

It's hard to believe but in September things start in motion to help bring Christmas dreams to reality with the kids we provide care for. School is back in session! Kids are heading back to school to further their education. Some are excited, whereas others are not. As the school doors open, it's normal for kids that have been undergoing difficulties throughout the summer are now coming to light to the public's eye as they are being seen by mandated reporters. Calls to Children Services tend to increase during this time with an increase in placements needed. Could you be that potential home that could step up and help a child in need? The golf ball drone drop is a highlight of Fore the Kids Scramble. Great anticipation is brought as the balls drop and aim towards the hole. It Takes 100% Heart under the umbrella of the YWCA had a large part in helping the agency bring this event once again to the golf scramble.

Making a swing at raising funds for Inner Peace Homes, Inc. is the Huntington Bank golf team. Fore the Kids Scramble was held on July 12th. The agency welcomed the Huntington Team amongst others who enjoyed a pleasant day on the course. The agency greatly appreciates all who were involved to help raise funds for foster families and foster kids placed through the agency.

Ms. Logsdon does individual therapy in Bowling Green and knows it takes a community to make a difference.
