We have lots of books on our sale cart, as well as audiobooks that we've pulled because they haven't been circulating. If you want to pick up some audiobooks for just a quarter come by tomorrow or Saturday!

Bowling Green Community, we have a request. We've been approached about a house-bound individual who only speaks Spanish that is looking for reading materials. If anyone has anything to potentially donate, please drop those materials off at the library during our open hours, and we'll be happy to get them where they need to go. Thanks!

Have you noticed a new look in our DVD section lately? We’ve updated our collection so that all movies are now organized in strict alphabetical order by title. Here is why we made the switch:

Faster Browsing: No more guessing which genre a movie might be filed under (is Ghostbusters a comedy, sci-fi, or action?). Now, if you know the title, you know exactly where to look.

Consistency: Alphabetical organization matches our online catalog directly, making it quick and seamless to find a specific title you saw online.

Equal Visibility: Every movie gets a fair shot on the shelves, including lesser-known gems that used to get hidden away in obscure sub-categories.

If you ever need help locating a specific title or want a recommendation for movie night, stop by the front desk. We're always happy to help you find what you're looking for!

There has been some confusion lately, and patrons have been accruing fines that they are unaware of, so I want to take a moment to remind everyone that the Missouri Evergreen auto-renewal messages simply indicate that some of your items might be eligible for auto-renewal. It is still important to log on to the website, check your app, or call us if you are unsure about your items renewing. We are happy to look that up for you and manually renew the items if possible.

Join us on Tuesday, August 25, at 5:00 PM for Makers' Night.

Bring whatever you're currently working on - knitting, crochet, quilting, embroidery, painting, drawing, scrapbooking, model building, or any other craft - and enjoy an evening creating alongside other makers.

Coffee and light refreshments will be available.

Free and open to the public.

We have our quarter shelf loaded with books for sale! We have lots of David Baldacci, Lee Child, and similar authors. Come by and take a look this Saturday, when we'll be open 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
