Happy Flag Day!

The Stars and Stripes represent our shared history, our enduring freedom, and the unity of our communities.

In our neighborhood, my neighbors have come accustomed to seeing my flag hanging proudly from our house. It is a constant in our neighborhood. Each time I see it I am reminded of the sacrifices made by our veterans and service members to protect the liberties we enjoy. In Columbus, I will stand strong to protect our constitutional rights and freedoms and champion the hard-working families of the 75th District.

Today is National Gun Violence Awareness Day.

Through the Wear Orange Weekend, June 5-7, Moms Demand Action is amplifying the voices of advocates across the country who are working to end gun violence. Wear Orange honors the nearly 130 people shot and killed every day in the United States.

Trump’s HUD ended federal housing protections for disabled Americans with emotional support animals, including veterans with PTSD.

Thousands of disability appeals could now be dismissed. This is what war on the vulnerable looks like.

Housing officials were told to exclude emotional support animals and tighten the definition of a service animal when granting accommodations for disabled tenants.
