Crews from Station 1 B Shift, along with PHI Air Care 2, were recognized for their teamwork and exceptional care during a pediatric traumatic incident. Thanks to their combined efforts, the patient has had a positive outcome.

🚒 Training Today for a Safer Tomorrow! 🚒

Recently, members of the Caroline County Fire Department spent multiple hours training on the department’s new ladder truck. Crews focused on the truck’s operation, equipment, safety features, and capabilities to ensure they are prepared to use it safely and effectively when our community needs us most.

Adding a new apparatus takes more than putting a truck in the station it takes training, practice, teamwork, and dedication.

A special thank you to M.C. Dean, Comfort Inn of Ruther Glen, Caroline County High School, Rappahannock Electric Cooperative, Meadow Event Park, Hanover Fire & EMS and Mangohick Volunteer Fire Department for allowing us to use your facilities. Having access to different locations provided valuable opportunities for realistic, hands-on training.

We also recognize Lieutenant Brown and Captain Barill for the many hours they dedicated to coordinating and overseeing this training, as well as all of our members who continue to put in the time to sharpen their skills.

National Night Out was a great success across Caroline County! 🚒💙

Our crews had an amazing time visiting neighborhoods throughout the county and welcoming community members to several of our fire stations. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with residents, answer questions, showcase our equipment, and strengthen the relationships that help keep our community safe.

Thank you to everyone who came out to spend the evening with us. We appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you at future community events!
