BPD Traffic Advisory ⚠️

Due to a serious motor vehicle crash on Interstate 495 Northbound, Massachusetts Avenue, in the area of the 1400 block, and Hill Road are experiencing extremely heavy traffic. Please avoid the area if possible. Be cautious of your speed when navigating back roads for alternate routes.

Public Service Announcement from the CMMCP regarding mosquito spraying:

Central Massachusetts Mosquito Control Project personnel will be in Boxborough to respond to residents concerns about mosquitoes in their area on the following dates in June: June 2, 9, 16, 23, 30. Any of the above dates are tentative, and all dates are subject to change due to weather conditions, mosquito populations, mosquito virus activity and/or special event spraying. This program will shut down when cool night time temperatures become predominant in the area. A detailed notice about our spray schedule is posted on the CMMCP phone system after 3:30 p.m. each day, and it is also listed on our website at http://www.cmmcp.org, click the "2026 Spray Schedule" button on the right.

Always one of the most festive days of the year as the Boxborough Police Department celebrates Thanksgiving in May at the Boxborough Senior Center. We had a terrific time serving turkey dinners to over 50 Boxborough Seniors and more importantly spending time together talking and answering questions. Special thanks to Boxborough Human Services Director Kim Dee and the Boxborough Council on Aging for helping organize this event.
