We hope everyone has a fun and safe Independence Day! Just a reminder that Wisconsin Statutes 167.10 and Boyceville Municipal Ordinance 7-6-1 regulate the use of fireworks. No one may possess or use fireworks without a valid permit issued by the municipality in which they are setting them off. ❌The Village of Boyceville has not issued any fireworks permits this year, therefore no one is allowed to legally set off fireworks in the Village limits ❌. Fireworks would mean anything that leaves the ground to make a noise, or sparks. Violations may result in a citation of $200.50 for each occurrence.

🎆Fountains, sparklers, and pop snaps are allowed.

Main Street will be closed between Race and Winter Streets tomorrow (12/9/23) for the Spirit of Christmas events. We will also close some downtown streets briefly for the parade around 5PM.

Happy Halloween!

Trunk or Treat is downtown again from 5-6:30. We will have crossing guards on duty tonight to help getting kiddos safely across the highways. Dress warm, use lighting, and go in groups.

Winter parking goes into effect tonight (November 1st @ 2am). Make sure you make arrangements to be off the streets overnight.

FYI, we turned over almost 50 pounds (49 lbs. 7 oz.) of unwanted medications for destruction yesterday. We do collections twice a year but also accept medications in our drug drop box anytime.

Be safe!

Thanks
