I've been pondering on how to post this all week so here we go.... kinda a long one.
I am so DAMN PROUD of this group of men and women on the B.E.D Fire and Ambulance Services! All the hard work they put into this one day, 3 hour event is amazing!
Thank you to the guys for getting the grills going by around 4:30 in the morning. The chicken and brats where cooked to perfection, as usual.
Thank you to the fireman for all thier work with set-up. That started Saturday in-between pumper refresher to tare down after the dinner. This is from moving picnic tables from the park and scrubbing them down to cleaning up the truck bays and floor to scrubbing the trucks clean. Serving the meals, answering the phone, hauling the picnic tables back to the park, getting all the roasts but away, cleaning up the floors again from misplaced food and getting the truck back into the bays.
To the Ambulance crew!! Your hard work really showed this year again. The amount of raffle baskets and how nice looking they where was great. You always get the cool stuff!!
We also could not make our Chicken dinner and raffles possible without the help of our husbands, wives, and kiddos. They help serve, wash dishes, clean up tables, and help clean up everything else until the end. Thank you all!!
Shout out to Melanie and Megan for delivering 18 orders to Station 1 in Chippewa to a fire class.
Thank you to the Miss Boyd Princess for helping sell pop.
Thank you to our community business for the donations for the dinner and the raffle baskets. Your support every year is so generous and we are so thankful for you businesses help to us!
Last but not least. Thank you to the community that continuously supports us every year and to the new ones that came for the first time this year (I meet a few of you!). With out you all, we would not be making this a yearly event.
Monies from our dinner and raffles go towards equipment purchases and/or upgrades for our rigs anf station.
Again!! THANK YOU everyone for making this yearly event stay a yearly event! See you the last Sunday of April, 2027!
