Congratulations to our Boyd Yellowjacket Anglers, Hunter and Lena Lambert (brother/sister team) on qualifying for Nationals at the end of July in Tennessee!

We are incredibly proud of these student-athletes and the hard work, dedication, and countless hours they have invested to earn this opportunity. We know they will represent Boyd with pride as they compete on the national stage.

What an incredible evening celebrating our Boyd Yellowjacket State Champions!

A huge thank you to our amazing community, Boyd Police Department, Boyd Fire Department, the City of Boyd, BHS Cheer, Band, and Drill Team for helping make tonight’s parade so special. Your support and pride for our students mean the world to us.

Special thanks to Shane Starnes for driving our Boyd Yellowjackets through town and helping make this celebration one our players will never forget.

We are so proud of these young men and all they have accomplished. Once a Yellowjacket, always a Yellowjacket! 💚💛🏆🐝

Come out and celebrate!

Temporary Road Closures:

In order to help provide a safe route for the student-athletes being celebrated this evening, along with the fans supporting them, there will be temporary road closures on Knox Ave., FM 730 S (S Allen) and both east and westbound lanes of HWY 114.

Along with these closures, access to HWY 114 and FM 730 S will be barricaded at Morton Ave., Boyd Ave., Evans St., Ewing St., and Agnew St.

These closures will begin around 6:30 p.m. with anticipated reopening at 6:45 p.m.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we provide a safe environment for all!
