New this year to Boydton Day parade is a golf cart/side x side decorating contest. The theme is decades. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

As part of the celebration of the 50th Boydton Day coming up on October 31, 2026, the committee would like to put together a collection of pictures from past Boydton Days. If you have any pictures that you would like to be included, please drop them by the Town Hall where they can be scanned and returned to you or email them to [email protected].

DUE TO SEVERE WEATHER AND THE LOSS OF ELECTRICITY DOWNTOWN, THERE WILL BE NO FIREWORKS TONIGHT AND IT IS QUESTIONABLE WHETHER OR NOT THE PILOTS WILL BE ABLE TO LAUNCH THE HOT AIR BALLOONS. IT IS LOOKING LIKE IT MIGHT NOT BE POSSIBLE AT THIS POINT. VENDORS ARE PACKING UP AND IT IS VERY WINDY RIGHT NOW. AS WE KNOW MORE, WE WILL LET YOU KNOW.
