The Clarksville Library would like to thank Sergeant Wendy Wotton with the Clarksville Police Department for letting us visit her on Wednesday during our Story Time. She talked about her job as a police officer. Each child had a chance to ask questions and examine the equipment she uses. Story Time is every Wednesday morning at 10:30. The Clarksville Library would like to thank the Mecklenburg County Bee Association for visiting our Junior Program. The kids learned about the life cycle of the Honey Bee. We also had a chance to taste some local honey. Our Junior Program meets every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at 2:00. For more information on our programs call 434-374-8692. The Clarksville Library would like to thank Michelle Fain with Green Means Go for visiting our Summer Reading Program. Everyone enjoyed learning about the history and actually making a zine, a miniature magazine.
