A group of energetic members at the Active Adult Center at Spring Street tossed their brushes aside and dove into a creative challenge of creating a summer landscape with only their fingers and pieces of cardboard. They mustered up the courage to let their creative juices flow with confidence and amazing talent! The results were amazing. Despite some messy manicures and some nervous energy, they followed direction like any good Picasso would.
"I am so proud of this group for the amazing effort they gave the project, and the results could be hung in any museum " said instructor Debbie Spleen.

17 members of the Spring Street Songsters took time from their summer break to sing at the rededication of the sanctuary of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Sassamansville.
The Choir Director Lili Sanderlin found four beautiful songs for the group to sing.
The Church had been damaged by a burst water pipe in the ceiling last winter.
