❄️ Storm Preparation Notice ❄️

Current forecasts are calling for 18–24 inches of snowfall in our area. Once the storm begins, we ask residents to please stay off the roads unless travel is absolutely necessary so crews can safely and efficiently clear and maintain roadways.

Please review these important snow and parking reminders:

🚗 Parking Ban Reminder
Please ensure vehicles are not parked in the roadway, as vehicles in violation may be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense. Keeping streets free of parked vehicles allows roads to be fully cleared curb-to-curb.

🚫 Do NOT push or blow snow into the roadway
Placing snow in any public roadway is a violation of town bylaws and is subject to a $100 fine. Boylston Police Department will be monitoring.

🚫 No plowing across the street from driveways
Snow pushed across the road will be returned during snow removal operations and is also subject to a $100 fine.

⏳ Wait to clear driveway ends
Please wait until your road has been fully cleared before clearing the end of your driveway to avoid it being filled back in during final passes.

📬 Mailboxes
We do not target mailboxes. Operators use caution, but snow rolling off equipment has significant force and can occasionally displace them.

Thank you for your cooperation in helping keep everyone safe and operations running efficiently.

12/02/2025

Winter parking ban is now in effect until April 1, 2026.

Vehicles cannot be in the right-of-way from 1:00am until 6:00am or until the snow has stopped and the roads have been cleared of snow.

The ban is designed to keep streets open and safe, and allows traffic to move during Winter storms. Vehicle operators who fail to follow the parking ban risk a ticket and the towing of their vehicle at the owner's expense.

Thank you for your cooperation.
