Out of an abundance of caution, as the fields wake up after a long winter, the Hillside Soccer Fields will be closed through Sunday, April 5th (reopening on Monday, April 6th). Thank you in advance for you cooperation staying off the fields.

With opening day for baseball quickly approaching, we ask all visitors to Manor Park to be mindful of your speed while entering and leaving and where and how you park. Please adhere to the posted speed limit and obey the new bright orange parking signs (thank you Boylston Highway Department!). For this upcoming baseball season, here’s what you need to know:

➡️ Orient St: No parking on the odd side
➡️ Greenwood St: No parking on the even side
🚨 Boylston Police Department will be actively enforcing this. If a vehicle is blocking emergency access, it will be towed at the owner’s expense.
We know parking can be tricky, but emergency vehicles need clear access—no exceptions.

We’ve made a little upgrade this year… and no, it’s not just our coffee. ☕

The No Parking signs have been updated thanks to Boylston Highway Department. We’ve traded in the old plastic signs (that had a habit of “going on vacation” in the wind 🌬️) for sturdy metal ones—securely attached to telephone poles.

Here’s what you need to know:

Last night was the second and last night of our first Mahjong class. We’d like to give a huge shout out to Carmen for leading the class in such a fun and humorous manner. There was a lot of learning but also a lot of laughter! And special thanks to Celeste for the homemade cookies!

Last night was the first session of a two part Mahjong class. Volunteer, Carmen Suen, led two groups on how to play the Hong Kong version she grew up playing as a child with clear instructions and lots of humor. Just as we were getting ready to put the tiles away, thinking there wasn’t time to finish the games, there were two Mahjongs almost simultaneously! Congratulations to the winners! A huge thank you to Carmen for teaching and to the attendees for coming out on a rainy Monday night. Special thanks to Carmen’s husband who stopped by with amazing treats! The best part? We get to do it again next week!

Today we wish to express our gratitude to the Veterinarians and Veterinary students at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts for another very successful rabies clinic! Every animal that visited us got so much love and attention! A special shout out to Matthew, our Assistant Animal Control Officer, who stopped by with special treats for all the dogs. And a very big thank you to Rebecca, our Assistant Town Clerk, for issuing dog licenses when needed. Unfortunately we don’t have any pictures from today’s event, but we can assure you all the animals were adorable! Feel free to post your attendees below if you wish.

A huge thank you to Fire Fighters Ryan and Tim of the Boylston Fire Department for teaching a fabulous CPR class last night. We have no pictures of the class because we were taking part in the learning. Today there are 10 more community members that have been trained in this live saving skill.
