During the event, kids can pick-up 10 tickets at the booth inside the library. Use the tickets to play games and earn BDL TOKENS that can be "spent" on various prizes. EVERYTHING IS FREE!

HEADS-UP. We are still in the middle of replacing our broken AC unit, so with the past few warm, muggy days the air inside the library is pretty stagnant. We do have fans going, but you may want to wear flip-flops if planning to be here for awhile.

Love books, community connections, and bringing library services beyond the building? Boyne District Library wants you! We’re seeking a full-time Outreach Services Coordinator to lead bookmobile services (not drive), coordinate community outreach, manage our library lending kiosk, and help connect people of all ages with library resources.

Pay starts at $18–20/hour based on experience and includes great benefits like health insurance for employees and dependents, retirement contributions, and paid holidays. Some evenings and weekends required.
