Looking for something active and fun for your child this summer? Movement Therapy, LLC is offering a Summer Youth Fitness Camp!

It sounds like registration is filling quickly, so don’t wait to reserve your spot. 💪🏼

Finally! Youth fitness sessions are starting! I have been doing this for six years and it’s definitely one of my favorite things to do. Specifically certified in Youth Fitness. I will help kids build confidence, stay healthy, learn healthy habits, get comfortable in a gym or continue staying in shape for those that already usually workout.
I do not care if your kid is NOT an athlete! If they aren’t in sports already or don’t normally workout - that is okay! I will help them learn to enjoy working out, get moving this summer and also be apart of a team. If your kid is already an athlete - great! They can come workout and continue to stay moving during the summer. I will be there to help with form, challenge each and every kid, help build confidence and will be making working out FUN for them!
Ages 8-14! This is a great age group that if we start these healthy habits now they will have a higher chance of keeping them into their young adult/adult lives.
Space will be limited as I have already gotten the word out and many have been reaching out. Sign up NOW! First workout starts June 18th. Tuesday and Thursdays will be the days we meet. One hour long where we will warm up, workout, stretch and talk at the end of every workout with a health/fitness topic!

🎉 Reminder! 🎉

Today is a bittersweet day as we celebrate Mr. Frank Hamilla's retirement after 39 years of dedication to our school and community.

Join us from 4:30–6:30 PM to share a memory, offer your well wishes, and help give Mr. Hamilla the send-off he deserves. We hope to see you there!

Third, fourth and fifth grade students traveled to Castle Rock and the Museum of Ojibwa Culture in St Ignace, and the US Coast Guard Cutter Mackinaw in Mackinaw City, for their end of the year field trip.

Kindergarten through second-grade students celebrated the end of the school year with a field trip to Kiwidinok Petting Farm and BC Lanes in Boyne City.

At the farm, students had the opportunity to learn about, feed, and pet a variety of animals, including miniature horses, miniature donkeys, yaks, adult and baby goats, adult and baby sheep, turkeys, chickens, and peafowl. Students also enjoyed searching the pasture for four-leaf clovers and participating in a relay race.

After visiting the farm, the group headed to BC Lanes, where students bowled their hearts out. There were plenty of great scores, lots of excitement, and even a few strikes along the way!

Thank you to Kiwidinok Farm and farmers Jim and Dawn for providing such a memorable experience. Thank you to BC Lanes for hosting our group and helping make the day a success. A special thank you to Logger Enrichment Organization (LEO) for sponsoring a portion of the field trip costs.

As this school year comes to a close, we would like to share that Chef Nathan will be moving on from Boyne Falls Public School, but we want to take a moment to celebrate his many contributions to our district.

Over the years, Nathan has had a tremendous impact on our school community. Through his passion for local food, relationships with area farmers and producers, and commitment to serving students high-quality, real food, he helped establish and grow the farm-to-school culture that has become an important part of who we are as a district.

We are grateful for the many ways Nathan has contributed to our school and for the positive influence he has had on students, staff, and families. His work helped create meaningful connections between our cafeteria, classrooms, local farms, and the broader community.

As we thank Nathan for his years of service, we are also excited about the future. In the coming weeks, we look forward to introducing our new chef and sharing how we will continue to build on the strong foundation Nathan helped create, while exploring new opportunities to further strengthen our food program.

Thank you, Nathan, for everything you have done for Boyne Falls Public School. We wish you all the best in the years ahead!

What a fantastic Field Day this week!

Our students enjoyed a day filled with fun, teamwork, friendly competition, and lots of smiles. From relay races and obstacle courses to ice cream and golf, our Loggers showed great sportsmanship, perseverance, and school spirit throughout the day.

A special thank you goes out to our incredible volunteers who helped make Field Day such a success. Your time, energy, and enthusiasm made the day run smoothly and created lasting memories for our students. We truly appreciate your support and dedication to our school community.

Thank you to everyone who helped organize, set up, supervise, and cheer on our students. It was a wonderful day celebrating the end of a great school year together!
