We have been named the 2025-2026 SEFLIN Library of the Year!

The SEFLIN Beacon Awards Committee recognized our commitment to innovation, community engagement, lifelong learning, and public service. It is a reflection of what our team does every day to make the library a place for learning, creativity, entrepreneurship, and connection.

Some of the programs and services the committee highlighted:

- Creative Edge Studio makerspace
- Virtual Zone and individualized technology assistance
- Educational opportunities for all ages
- Local History Archives, including our LSTA-funded oral history initiatives

The committee also noted how our library reflects SEFLIN’s pillars of Connect, Advocate, and Develop through community partnerships, equitable access to technology, and services that strengthen individuals and families.

Thank you to our dedicated library team, and to our patrons, partners, and community. This award belongs to all of you.

Thank you Southeast Florida Library Information Network for recognizing us!

Come together and gather with other writers, bring your own project, and enjoy a moment of distraction-free time to write. This is a self-guided space, no instruction or facilitator.

Just bring your thoughts, ideas, pen, and paper. If you'd like, bring noise-cancellation ear buds, headphones, and your favorite playlist to lock-in and vibe as you write.

We'll write for a 45-minute sprint and open the floor to share what we've accomplished to celebrate each other!

We had a great time with iCare, a program designed for adults (18+) with autism and related intellectual and developmental disabilities. Libraries are spaces for everyone!

The Boynton Beach City Library is pleased to be safe and supportive space.
