Sign-ups are OPEN for Art Club!

Art Club is an after-school program for children ages 3–9, offering a creative space to slow down and reconnect between school and home through sensory exploration, open-ended making, and process-based art experiences.

Last week at our Big Kids “I Love Myself” Art Camp, we spent time exploring affirmations, mindfulness and self care through storytelling, crafting, and collage. Campers were encouraged to slow down, reflect, and celebrate what makes them unique.

One of the most special moments was hearing the children write a song about how much they matter. It was a beautiful reminder that confidence grows when children are given the space to know and celebrate exactly who they are.

Our Big Kids Art Camp wraps up this week with Mini Museum Camp, and coming up for our Little Kids Art Camps (ages 3-6) we’ve got:
August 10-13 Clay Camp
August 17-20 Playful Pets Art Camp
August 24-27 Printmaking

As we say goodbye to Makers Mart Camp, we’re excitedly looking ahead at what’s to come!

🛖July 13-16 is Dream House Camp where children will design and decorate their very own dream house using found materials while exploring a variety of creative techniques along the way.

Last week our Big Kids enjoyed Playwriting Camp where they wrote and preformed in their own plays.

They learned about character development, story structure, how to construct a plot, and the art of improvisation (in case you forget your lines)! They painted their own backdrops, sewed their own costumes and crafted the props for their shows.

On the last day of camp family members and friends came to see the performances—there were 5! The audience was impressed and even got to take home their own homemade playbills!
