We offer a variety of recreation programs and special events for people of all ages on a year round basis in the area of arts, sports, science, outdoor and more. Main is a 50-meter, eight lane indoor aquatic facility and offers swim lessons, water fitness, lap swimming, recreation swimming and professional classes.

Rec Mobile is BACK for fall! Don't miss out!
Our Rec Leaders are hitting the parks with plenty of fall fun in tow! Join us for hands-on science experiments, nature-inspired art, seasonal crafts, silly games, and more!
Rec Mobile is FREE and designed especially for little adventurers ages 2–5, but everyone is welcome to join the fun!
A parent or guardian must be present during the program.
Bundle up, come play, create, explore, and enjoy fall with us. We can’t wait to see you at the park!

Love trees? Don’t miss our last Public Engagement Meeting for the Urban Forest Management Plan (UFMP) update! Come share your thoughts with us on Monday, August 31 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Bozeman Public Safety Center (901 N. Rouse Ave). We’ll discuss the Plan and share next steps for finalizing and presenting it to the City Commission for review and adoption.

Summer camp ended this week, but we want spotlight just a few of our amazing recreation leaders. Katie enjoys being able to relieve a busy family even if it’s just for a few hours. She loves to teach young kids about nature and the outdoors before they think bugs are gross. Carter started as a camper, moved to a counselor in training, and is now a summer rec leader! He’s learned a lot about communication and loves that every day at camp is different. Paige has enjoyed getting to know the kids and her fellow rec leaders throughout the summer. When all of the rec leaders are together having so much fun, the kids have so much fun too.

Thank you for providing childcare and bringing great energy to summer camps. We’ll see you next summer!

The Fall Swim Center schedule begins Monday, August 24th at 5:30 am. Updated hours are online at www.bozemanmt.gov/pools and at the front desk of the Swim Center.

The last day the splash pad will be in operation for the summer is Monday, September 7th.

The Swim Center will be closed on Monday, September 7th.

Open boating will be held the first Wednesday of every month from 6:15pm - 8:00pm. The first session will be Wednesday, September 2nd! Please spend some extra time rinsing out your boats from outside summer use before using them in the pool.

The last day Bogert Pool will be open for the season is Friday, August 21st. The closing of the community’s much loved outdoor facility at the end of the summer is always a bummer. However, this season is exciting because the renovation of Bogert Pool will begin! The pool will be getting a new interior surface, gutters and coping. The perimeter wall will be replaced and the filtration system. We are looking forward to welcoming you back next summer to enjoy the improvements to the pool!

Fall hours at the Swim Center start Monday, August 24th. Hours of operation will be updated on the website and available at the front desk of the Swim Center.
