Did you know that Montana law requires drivers to move over for stationary law enforcement, emergency medical, or work vehicles with flashing lights? Next time you see lights on the side of the highway or interstate, reduce your speed. If it’s safe to do so on a multi-lane roadway, move into the lane that is not next to the vehicle. Great week at NLTAPA meetings in Louisville, Kentucky. FHWA Administrator Sean McMaster got stuck in Denver last night…(I hope I don’t have a similar fate) but spent a full session virtually addressing our centers about the priorities of FHWA and how our LTAPs and TTAPs can be more effective and maintain our relevance within the FHWA areas of focus.

I hope the highway worker is ok. I’ll post an update if I get one!
