The Southern Poverty Law Center has told a federal court that law enforcement agencies knew for years that the nonprofit was paying informants to report on the movements of hate groups.

Please don't let anyone get away with referring to the GOP concentration camps as "detention centers" unchallenged. ICE and the corporations (usually) running these facilities are killing people through abuse and neglect at an unprecedented rate.

As if to invite mockery, the Supreme Court Justices chose April Fools Day to hear oral argument in Trump v. Barbara, in which the Justices will literally debate whether the authors of the 14th Amendment meant what they wrote in one of the Constitution’s clearest passages.
