Hello, my name is Trajan Hill, and I am an Aircraft Armament Systems Apprentice in the Air Force. I am from the Apsáalooke (Crow) Tribe in Montana and recently graduated from Technical School in the F-35 Program. Joining the Air Force has been an amazing experience thus far. In my short time here, I've found close-knit friendships that feel like family, which is one of the reasons why I decided to enlist.

Before joining, I spent two years in college, during which I lost a sense of what I wanted to do and needed time for self-reflection. Considering the benefits and opportunities that the Air Force offered, it felt like a good decision as I take some time to figure out what path I want to take in my life .

Seniors, you’re coming up on a huge life decision! When I was at that stage in high school, I didn’t think I could have a successful career without going to college and getting a degree.
Little did I know that joining the Air Force would skyrocket my education, experience, pay, and travel opportunities far beyond my peers. Even with all the job opportunities I could pursue with the 8.5 years of experience I now have, I stay in for the amazing benefits, the lifestyle, and the far-reaching impact I’ve had even since my first contract. I am so proud to be an airman!
