EXCITING NEWS!

Our Building Codes Inspector Registered Apprenticeship pathway graduated its first participants today! These graduates represent a vision coming to life, as they are the first to complete this particular pathway and will set the standard for those who follow!

This program is designed to combine classroom instruction with hands-on field experience as participants work toward a recognized professional credential.

Over the past year, our agency has developed seven apprenticeship pathways, with additional programs in development as we continue building a broader statewide system that supports stable careers, advancement, and workforce stability. The 406 JOBS Initiative is about more than just job placement – it’s about building long-term career pathways, strengthening our workforce, and making sure Montana employers have the skilled talent they need to serve our communities.

Please join us in congratulating:

Austin Wilson
Nicolas Crowe
Danny Rouse

Your achievement marks an important step forward for the Montana Department of Labor & Industry and Montana!
