Election Day is right around the corner! 🗳️✨

If you haven’t returned your absentee by-mail ballot yet, there’s still time—but don’t wait! ⏰ As we get closer to Election Day, we recommend dropping your ballot off in person.

📌 Important: Ballots must be received by 8 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, June 2. Postmarks do NOT count!
🚗 Curbside ballot drop-off is available:
• Monday, June 1: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Tuesday, June 2: 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Can’t make it to our office? No problem! ✅ Absentee voters can return ballots to any polling place in the county.

🗂️ Need to register late? In-person late registration is available at the Election Office (311 W. Main St., Room 210):
• Today & Tomorrow, May 28-29: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Monday, June 1: 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
• Election Day (Tuesday, June 2): 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.
There will NOT be any late registration on Saturday, May 30th.

Important June 2 Primary Election Reminders for Gallatin County voters 🗳️
• Pick only ONE party ballot to vote ✅
• Sign your affirmation envelope ✍️
• Write your year of birth on the signature envelope 🎂

📍 In-person late registration is available at the Gallatin County Election Office,
311 W. Main St., Room 210, Bozeman:
• May 6–29: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. ⏰
• Monday, June 1: 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. (noon) 🕛
• Election Day, Tuesday, June 2: 7:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. 🗓️

🚫 Late registration will NOT be available on Saturday, May 30.

Please note that these results are not official until the canvass process is complete.

The canvass for special districts is scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday, May 18th at the Gallatin County Court House.

The School District election results will be canvassed by each district's board of trustees. For dates and time of a school’s canvass, please contact the school district directly.

Gallatin County Elections staff have mailed ballots to eligible absentee voters in the county. You should see yours arrive in the coming days! 📬

When you’re ready to vote, remember to include your four-digit birth year next to your signature on the return envelope. This new requirement helps ensure your ballot is counted. ✒️

If you don’t receive your ballot within a week, visit MyVoterPageMT.com to check your voter registration or call our office for help.

Moved recently or changed your name? Stop by the Gallatin County Elections Office on the second floor of the Gallatin County Courthouse in downtown Bozeman to update your information and ensure you’re ready to vote.

Happy Election Day! 🎊 A couple handy Election-Day reminders for you!

⏳ Ballots for the school and special district election are due today by 8 PM! They must be dropped off in person - DO NOT MAIL THEM. You can do so at the Gallatin County Courthouse in Bozeman (curbside ballot drop now available!), in Belgrade at the School District Office or Ridge View Elementary School, and Big Sky’s BASE Community Center.

📋 If you still need to register or update your registration, you have until 8 PM to do so, but you must do it in person! Come see our staff in the Gallatin County Elections Office, located on the second floor of the Gallatin County Courthouse in downtown Bozeman.

✍ If you want to vote in person, you may do so at our Elections Office today.

📊 Unofficial preliminary results will be posted on this page and at www.GallatinVotes.com as soon as they become available after the close of voting at 8 PM!

We recommend mailing your ballot no later than Friday, April 24 to ensure it is delivered on time. All ballots must be received in our office no later than 8 P.M. on Election Day May 5 – postmarks cannot be accepted.

After April 24, we recommend dropping off your ballot in person at the Elections Office, on the second floor of the Gallatin County Courthouse in downtown Bozeman.

Ballots can also be dropped off at:
➡️Belgrade School District Office – 312 N. Weaver St.
➡️Ridge View Elementary School - 117 Green Belt Dr.. Belgrade
➡️BASE Community Center – 285 Simkins Dr, Big Sky

These locations accept ballots during their regular business hours leading up to Election Day, and from 7 AM to 8 PM on May 5th.

A drive-up ballot box will also be available at the front of the courthouse the day before and on Election Day for your convenience.
