Happy birthday to the wonderful woman who made the Tingley Memorial Library possible. Beulah Rebecca Hooks Hannah Tingley was born this day in 1893 in Clermont, FL. She was named as a Great Floridian in 2000 thanks to her lifelong work to benefit our state. She moved to Anna Maria Island because she loved to fish, so cast a line (or raise a book) to Mrs. Tingley for her contributions to our community.
