It began under the leadership of Eleanor Roosevelt, and we proudly continue on her work and dedication to all women.

Calling all Manatee Democratic women (and other Choice supporters)!!

We need to speak loudly and let our voices be heard. Come out on October 2nd to let our US Congressman, Vern Buchanan, know that we care about women’s choice and support our right to make our own decisions about our bodies. We need him to vote for legislation to PROTECT women’s right to terminate a pregnancy, not oppose it. This is a National ACTION and we can be a part of it locally!

We don’t need vigilantes intimidating women who make the hard choice to end a pregnancy.
We don’t need an arbitrary 6-week restriction when most of us don’t even know we are pregnant.
We don’t need government overriding our personal choices in these matters.
