It's been almost a year since Symphony sold its Canadian properties and then transitioned them to a new operator. The U.S. company has been consulting since Covid stalled the buying environment in our sector and our focus was the safety and security of our existing residents and staff and not just being bigger.
So what's next for Symphony and myself .... good question .... the idea - take a year to breath and consider options. Simplify and wrap up Canadian ops. First time since I was 15 yrs old, have I literally stopped to think about it. To be purposeful not just practical - To thrive not just survive.
What ever direction it becomes, what ever industry it is, in what ever country we land, it needs to be a challenge, with ethical partners that care about people they lead and those they care for, with new things to learn and something to contribute.
