Just for Girls OST programs offer opportunities for students to pick up a book! Newer readers can benefit from staff support while practicing the basics! When girls are strong readers, they are better able to succeed in school, gain knowledge, and excel in life:

📕Improved academic achievement: Reading helps girls understand other subjects such as science, mathematics, and social studies.

📗Greater confidence and independence: Literacy enables girls to access information, make informed decisions, and express their ideas.

📘Better future opportunities: Girls who can read are more likely to continue their education, find employment, and earn higher incomes.

📙Improved health and well-being: Literacy helps girls understand health information, nutrition, and their rights.
