Rowlett holds itself and its students accountable for meeting individualized goals and standards as well as those required by the State of Florida. Rowlett has a deeply held philosophy, which encompasses 21st century lear

ning skills, emphasizing the education of the whole child through the use of arts and communication integration and proprietary character development programs that will prepare our students for success in reaching their full potential as 21st Century citizens. The elements of our philosophy embody principles which:
Foster an academically rigorous and challenging learning environment with a focus on both process and results. Recognize character development as a means of effectuating self-actualization, upholding students in their development of crucial life skills necessary for successful outcomes in college and career for the 21st Century. Create and sustain a safe and nurturing school community built on respect, teamwork, integrity, and acceptance. Cultivate an inspiring, energizing, creative, and synergistic teaching and learning culture based on research-based pedagogical principles that are enhanced through arts and communication integration as well as proprietary character development programs. Establish and maintain high expectations of citizenship and academic performance supported with resources and a strong commitment to students in meeting these expectations. Engage students‘ families and community members, recognizing their critical role in the educational experience.
