"Working small, I am gradually finding a way of seeing the landscape through paint, led by the beauty of the everchanging movement of light and the challenge of translating that transience through watercolor and pastel."
From Don's artist bio:
"At the moment, lamp making has been my playground for experimentation, with metal, mortar, and found objects as additional materials. I especially enjoy the idea that while one might not consider a piece sculpture for one's home, a sculptural lamp can be both a unique object AND a needed source of light in a room, earning a place in the spotlight!"
