Golden Rule Dojo is a ministry of Main Street Baptist Church, and provides free Karate instruction from a Biblical perspective each Saturday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M . Sensei Doug Whittum teaches Shorei-Goju Ryu, an American blend of the Okinawan styles Shorei-Ryu and Goju-Ryu. Lessons start with a Bible based devotional, often related in some way to martial arts. omized to fit your needs, can be provided upon request for private groups and non-profit organizations. Sensei Whittum has studied with Sensei Willis at the Godley Park District for many years. He was awarded his ShoDan, 1st Black Belt in January 2012, and his second degree, NiDan in January 2017 by an exam board of Black Belts (1st degree - 5th degree) from Master Willis' Dojo at the Godley Park District, Godley, Illinois.
