SHAW'S FUNDRAISING - Buy a reusable bag at Shaw's in
Braintree MA, for the entire month of A JANUARY, 2026 to help the animals and earth!

Massachusetts Humane Society has been selected for Shaw's GIVE BACK WHERE IT COUNTS Reusable Bag Program.

For the entire month of JANUARY, 2026 our Organization will receive a $1.00 donation for every $3.00 GIVE BACK WHERE IT COUNTS BAG that is purchased at the Shaw's in Braintree, located at 125 Pearl Street near Michael's, Marshall's and the post office.

The donations will directly support our mission to Massachusetts Humane Society in helping stray/mistreated animals on the streets, that need to be rescued off the streets and given medical care and a new beginning !!

Plastic is a big problem on our earth and needs to be addressed and taken serious. Buying a reusable bag will help eliminate single-use plastic bags, which are destroying our oceans and causing great danger to marine life.

Tip: Keep your reusable bags in your vehicle so that you have them when you need them.

Be sure to visit Shaw's in Braintree, 125 Pearl Street during the whole month of JANUARY, 2026 and buy a reusable bag to benefit Massachusetts Humane Society Animal Organization !

Wanted to address this: We are not using Petfinder any longer. Petfinder for some reason changed there web site program to make it faster and efficient, well its anything but that. ( the older version web site is the same as this new version ?? who knows)

On our Massachusetts Humane Society web site we have a page that says "adopted happy paws" animals that were adopted out and that link was connected to the petfinder site with the link "available to adopt" as well. However Petfinder has LOST ALL OF OUR OLDER PICTURES OF ANIMALS that we had on that page and adopted through out the years and looks like they lost them and cannot be recovered.!! ugh .....

( we are NOT the only animal shelter/Orgranization that has had terrible experiences with this new system and petfinder) That being said we do not want to take any more chances posting animals and other info on petfinder. That being said we will seek out other resources and as I say if its not broken don't fix it.

On Saturday 13th late in the evening we got a frantic call about 2 cats dumped off the side of a highway. ( as we are available during the weekends SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS and do the best we can with emergencies that contact us by phone or email) Thank goodness we were available Saturday late evening = we got on it right away and glad to report that the 2 kitty cats are saved and now safe and getting medical care!! ( these two were dumped throw aways delibertly in the wooded area and of all PLACES ON THE SIDE OF A BUSY HIGHWAY. ( their is enough CRUELTY to go around until eternity) Again the 2 kitty cats are rescued and safe and now have a NEW BEGINNING TOGETHER !! 👌🏼🐾🐾🐾🐾❤️🤍💙🖤

ITS THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN !!!! the loud bagging shooting noise in the sky !!!
Protect ALL YOUR ANIMALS for sure .. even the wildlife find cover and the birds sometimes die from heart attacks..
( why not have silent fire works in the sky at least you see all the colors and display = but SILENCE !!!)

NEWS FLASH: as a nonprofit this is scary.. not sure if applies to animal shelters/organizations but knowing this big bill it could !! As we have to file report our federal tax forms every year as a non profit.
Please SIGN SEND AND SHARE SHARE!!! all nonprofits are being attacked and the red flag is up with this BIG BILL !!

Tell the Senate to protect the nonprofit sector. Strip these harmful provisions from the bill before it's too late.
