The NJ Motor Vehicle Commission (NJMVC) Mobile Unit is coming to Branchburg Township on Friday September 11, 2026 from 9:30 AM - 2:30 PM at our Municipal Building (1077 US Highway Rt. 202).

Appointments open tomorrow September 1, 2026 at 1PM, and are required for most services. Limited walk-up services will be available.

Beginning Wednesday August 26, 2026 - Holland Brook Road West will be CLOSED from US Highway Rt. 202 through Old York Road for construction between 7AM and 5PM.

During construction, Holland Brook Road West will be closed to ALL through traffic.

Drive safe, and please obey posted detour(s) in the area.

Help us spread the word to anyone interested in attending a training for our Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) being hosted in Somerset County - see below link for further information.

The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Program educates people about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster-response skills. Using training learned in the classroom and during exercises, CERT volunteers can assist others in their community following a disaster when professional responders are not immediately available to help. Learn how to help yourself, your family, your neighbors, and your community when disaster strikes!

FYI (we've gotten a lot of questions this past week), Branchburg is NOT hosting a National Night Out this year.

However, we ARE in the planning process for a 'Community Day' tentatively scheduled in the fall. We'll notify everyone once details for the Community Day event are finalized.
