Today at Story Hour we read about Fireflies. We read The Very Lonely Firefly and Among A Thousand Fireflies.
After our stories, the kids made pictures of fireflies in the night sky.

Thank youto Richard and Lisa Harper for dropping off several flats of vegetable plants! They are outside the front door and are ready for your garden. We have tomatoes 🍅, peppers 🌶️, squash and cucumbers.

Our Story Hour theme today was construction. We read Mike Mulligan and His Steam Shovel. The kids enjoyed making construction vests. After the craft the girls enjoyed sensory bins and even pretended to be the librarian.

As the weather turns warmer, thoughts turn to summer ☀️. This year our 3rd Annual Touch A Truck at the Branchport Library will be held on Saturday July 18 from 10:00-1:00.

We need the communities help! We are looking for all types of vehicles for the kids to look at and touch. The kids love to look at all types of farm equipment, construction equipment and anything they don’t get to see often. 🚛🚐🚌🛵🚜🚕🚔🚚🚒🚓🚁🚂🚢.
