Before dry weather arrives for everyone tomorrow through the rest of the week, we'll have one more low chance for showers and storms today. The best chance for showers and storms will be in western Kentucky, and many locations will not see rain today. There is a very small chance for strong gusty winds in storms along and southwest of the dashed line on the map, with the main threat coming late this morning into the early afternoon.

After one more chance for showers and storms mainly in southern and western Kentucky, drier weather is expected for all Tuesday through the rest of the week. Temperatures should be near or slightly below climatological normals Tuesday and Wednesday before warming later in the week.

Across southern Kentucky, there is a chance for an isolated shower or storm this afternoon and evening, with the chance increasing as you approach the Tennessee line. After patchy fog burns off this morning, a drier day is expected across southern Indiana and central Kentucky, with highs in the low-to-mid 80s. This will be the beginning of a mostly dry stretch of weather over the next week, although low-to-medium chances for daily showers and storms will be possible through the weekend mainly across south central Kentucky.

Patchy dense fog has developed across portions of southern Indiana and northern Kentucky this morning. Be prepared for sudden reductions in visibilities, especially if you're driving through valleys and near bodies of water. Slow down, use low-beam headlights, and increase following distance if you encounter patches of dense fog. Fog should begin to burn off by around 8-9 AM EDT.
