The Doe Valley Board of Directors wish to announce our new General Manager, Eddie Bohannon. While many in our community may know him as a neighbor, from church, the chamber of commerce or around the community; he may be new to others so we’d like to share some of his professional qualities he will be bringing to us as our next General Manager. While his official start date isn’t until 4/30/24, Eddie will begin working with Keith on transition shadow training starting next week.
o Multi-faceted leader with 30 years’ experience overseeing managers as well as staff while also reporting to a board, leadership and customers; Human Resources; training, mentoring and staff development.
o Infrastructure and multi-million dollar contracting experience and oversight of construction, mechanical and maintenance projects; OSHA compliance.
o Budget and Finance experience, equates a budget to a contract, P&L analysis, data-driven decision making and multimillion-dollar budget creation, oversight and implementation. Revenue enhancement.
o Safety and compliance experience, risk analysis, security, and IT technology and automation
While his resume was impressive, it was the words of people who have worked with and for him which described him best, including “professional, responsive, team-oriented, gets results, great communicator, problem-solver and great boss”. We look forward to working with and getting to know Eddie better as we build on the accomplishments of the past towards an even better Doe Valley of the future! Many thanks again to Keith Church our outgoing GM for his leadership and positive contributions to our community. We wish him the absolute best and much happiness going forward.

2 Directors to be Elected
Deadline for Eligibility: April 15 2024
Minimum Qualifications and Desirables
· DVA Member in Good Standing, working in and representing Doe Valley’s best interest.
· Ability to analyze complex multimillion-dollar budgets and spreadsheets for decisions & planning.
· Business, Public Works, Community/Non-Profit experience or understanding a plus.
· Ability to work through and discuss complex matters towards reaching consensus with others, in a professional and congenial manner.
· Sufficient time (appx 5-20hrs/wk.+/-) to serve including attendance at multiple meetings, discussions, and prep.
· General understanding and experience with business productivity tools such as email, Microsoft office and technology. Proficiency not required.
