Some people leave a mark on a community not because they seek recognition, but because of the way they love and serve the people around them. Brenda McCall was one of those people.

Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the loss of a beloved friend and a very special part of the Rankin Chamber family.

Through Leadership Rankin, countless Chamber events, years spent behind the camera capturing moments for others, and the personal friendships formed along the way, Brenda gave so much of herself to this community. She was kind, thoughtful, servant-minded, and always willing to show up wherever she was needed. She had a way of making people feel seen and cared for, without ever asking for anything in return.

Brenda spent so much time capturing the moments that mattered to others, never realizing just how much her presence would become part of the memories we treasure most.

We are incredibly grateful for every photograph, every conversation, every helping hand, every laugh, and every moment we were fortunate enough to share with her. Her light reached far beyond any one organization or event, and we know there are countless people throughout Rankin County and beyond who are better for having known her.

We will miss our friend deeply, and we will always be grateful that Brenda chose to share so much of her light with us.

Our love and prayers are with her family, friends, and all who loved her. 🤍

Our Youth Leadership Rankin students spent the day learning what it means to lead with confidence, building practical skills they can carry into the classroom, workplace, and community.

Throughout the day, students focused on professional etiquette, financial literacy, and self-presentation, all important pieces of preparing young leaders to communicate well, represent themselves professionally, and step into new opportunities with confidence.

Turning a longtime dream and years of restaurant industry experience into reality, Chris & Steven have now opened the storefront for Azariah’s! Previously operating out of the food truck off Spillway, we are excited to celebrate the move into their permanent home that was reconstructed with the help of many friends and family.
