***WEATHER UPDATE***

On behalf of Sheriff Bailey and the Rankin County Sheriff's Department, we would like to express our appreciation to Quilts for Cops regarding the quilt they made for Deputy Patrick Mullins.

Quilts for Cops is a non-profit organization founded in 2016 that makes beautiful handmade quilts and sends them to First Responders (police, fire, EMT and K9) across the nation who have been injured in the line of duty. https://quiltsforcops.com/

Deputy Mullins sustained severe injuries several months ago while responding to an emergency call. Since that time he has had to undergo multiple surgeries and has been recovering at home while receiving physical and occupational therapies.

Thank you again to the public for the outpouring of support Deputy Mullins received in the aftermath of the incident.

The demonstrations of support from organizations like Quilts for Cops and the public at large make a huge impact on our staff and we are honored to serve you.
