Today we kicked off AEFL Week at Rankin County Adult Education with a welcome message from our Director, who shared what this week is all about.

AEFL Week is a time to raise awareness about the importance of Adult Education, build skills in literacy, numeracy, and digital learning, and celebrate the students, teachers, and community partners who help make a difference.

After our welcome, we headed to the library! Our students helped assist with preschool story time, toured the library, and had the opportunity to get their own library cards.

We’re excited to celebrate AEFL Week and the opportunities Adult Education provides to our students and community!

🍪 One Smart Cookie!
Week one of classes is officially in the books! We celebrated our students with a little treat to recognize all their hard work.

Starting something new isn’t always easy, and we’re proud of everyone who showed up, put in the work, and made it through their first week.
