🌿 Wellness Wednesday — Mental Health Reset

“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.”
— 1 Corinthians 6:19–20

This scripture reminds us that caring for our bodies includes our minds.
Mental health is not separate. It’s part of stewardship.

🕊️ Prayer / Reset

God, today I pause on purpose.

I acknowledge that my body has been holding things
my mouth hasn’t said
and my mind hasn’t processed yet.

Help me listen to myself without judgment.
Help me recognize when I need rest, movement, quiet, or support.

Remind me that honoring my body includes:
• setting boundaries
• slowing down
• breathing intentionally
• checking in before I burn out

I release the pressure to perform today.
I give myself permission to reset without guilt.

This Wellness Wednesday, I choose stewardship over shame.
I choose care over criticism.
I choose awareness over avoidance.

Let my mind be renewed,
my body respected,
and my spirit steady.

Amen.

The steady commitment to serve, protect, and uplift.

Pause long enough to appreciate what’s working.
That gratitude stabilizes us.
That steadiness strengthens communities.
That’s real abundance.

🎶✨ JANUARY IS SAFE STEPS AT HOME! ✨🎶

Senior Hidden Treasures is kicking off the year with movement, music, and meaningful moments — all wrapped in a 60’s-inspired experience our seniors know and love.

This month, we’re proud to deliver this work in partnership with our Major Sponsor, Dedicated Senior Medical Center, alongside community locations such as IBIS and Haley Park, as we bring safety education directly into the spaces seniors already trust.

January’s focus includes:
🚶🏽‍♀️ safe steps & fall awareness
🏠 confidence at home
🎶 familiar music & joyful movement
💛 real conversations — without fear or pressure

We’re creating welcoming spaces where seniors feel comfortable, respected, and empowered, while naturally weaving in trauma-informed, social-emotional conversations that support independence, dignity, and quality of life.

No lectures.
