Today, 10/10/2024 at 09:05am the Deuel County Commissioners with the consultation of the Deuel County Sheriff and Deuel County Fire Chiefs, have passed a resolution enacting a county wide BURN BAN because of extreme fire danger and a danger to public safety.

A violation of county ordinance B2000-01 could result in a $200 fine plus court costs and/or 30 days in the county jail and/or a civil penalty.
