🎉🎂 Celebrating 50 Years of Homemaker Thrift Shop! 🎂🎉

We recently had the pleasure of celebrating a very special milestone with our friends at Homemaker Thrift — 50 years of making a difference in our community! 💙🧡

At Community Dining Room (CDR), we know that being More Than Just a Meal means coming together, supporting one another, and building a stronger, more connected community. Homemaker Thrift is a wonderful example of that spirit in action! 🤝❤️

We are so grateful for all they do for our community and proud to celebrate this incredible milestone alongside them. And can we talk about their NEW LOGO?! 😍✨ We absolutely love it! What a fantastic way to celebrate 50 years while looking ahead to the future.

👏 Congratulations to the entire Homemaker Thrift team! Thank you for all you do, for the people you serve, and for being such a valued part of our community. Here's to 50 years of impact and many more to come! 🥳💐

🧡 WISHLIST WEDNESDAY: NAPKINS, PLEASE! 🧡

Did you know? We serve meals 365 days a year, and every meal comes with a napkin! 🍽️

Here at Community Dining Room, the little things make a big difference. With more than 60,000 meals served each year, that means we need at least 60,000 napkins! 🧻

That’s a whole lot of napkins — and a great opportunity for our community to help us stock up! 💙

🛒 This week’s Wishlist Wednesday request: NAPKINS!

Whether you donate a package or a whole case, every little bit helps us keep the essentials stocked so we can focus on what matters most: nourishing our community.

🧡 Can you help us keep the napkins coming?

Drop a 🧡 in the comments if you’re ready to help, share this post to spread the word, or donate napkins to CDR!

Because at Community Dining Room, we’re More Than Just a Meal — and it takes a community to make it all happen. 💚

🍞💙 DID YOU KNOW? 🧡 Bread Makes Everything Better at CDR! 🥖✨

There’s just something special about a slice of bread alongside a good meal… and at Community Dining Room, we love being able to offer bread with our meals whenever we can! 🥰🍽️

And speaking of bread… have you tried Gretchen’s famous garlic bread?! 🧄🍞 If you know, you KNOW! 😋 It’s a CDR favorite, and we want to know…

👇 LET’S MAKE THIS INTERACTIVE!

🧄 Team Garlic Bread or 🧈 Team Buttered Bread?

💬 Bonus question: Have you had Gretchen’s famous garlic bread yet? Tell us in the comments! 👇❤️

And here’s another little CDR secret… 🤫 When we receive extra bread donations, we put out our FREE BREAD cart during lunch service! 🍞🎉 It’s open to everyone, and guests can take a loaf home to enjoy with their next meal. Because sharing good food and caring for our community go hand in hand! 🧡💙💚

🥖 A little bread, a little kindness, and a whole lot of community. That’s what More Than Just a Meal looks like!
