Went to Lake City today and stopped by the LFL at First Federal. Added some books. It always needs books so if you happen to be in Lake City and have a Few extra books stop by and help them out. Sadly I didn’t have many children’s books with me so it can definitely use some. Especially since it is by a playground.

Added lots more books for the kids today. Lots of chapter books, picture books & oversized books in the bottom section. Even added a few new books for adults! Please stop by and get a few books to read or to let the kids read. Don’t worry about putting books in the library. Even though that is the concept — take a book, leave a book. I have had this library up for over 7 years now and the number of books that I have had donated by this wonderful community has allowed me to have, literally, totes and totes full of books to share. So stop by and help yourself to some new reading material and don’t worry about not having anything to put in. We love sharing our love of reading with you!!

Finally got around to doing a little restock of the library. Unfortunately, this battle with cancer has been kicking my butt. So I have not been keeping up with the Library as well as I would like to be. Hopefully that is going to change now.

Stop by soon and check it out because there are a bunch of new books in the LFL. Along with some great oversized books for kids in the bottom section you will find a few children’s Spanish books & some board books for our littlest readers in the upper section.

Adults have some great new books to choose from as well. So stop by soon and see if you can find something new to read!

Someone came by and filled the Puzzle/Game box full of DVDs. While I appreciate the thought and I don’t mind the occasional DVD added to the LFL I would prefer to keep this box for Puzzles and Games.

Sometimes the LFL becomes a dumping ground for things people want to get rid of and then it requires me to get rid of things that people don’t want. We love donations but often get overwhelmed with things that no one wants.

If you are interested in DVDs please stop by and help yourself. I will be removing these in the next few days if no one takes them.

Went out and reorganized the library. Lots of great reads out there just waiting for you to stop by and grab something new to read. Lots of chapter books for those younger readers, children’s books including board books and larger books in the bottom cabinet. You will also find some cookbooks in that bottom section! Adults take a peek and find some great reads including this tear jerker that I have supplied tissues with. 5 ⭐️ but you’re gonna cry. 😭
