❌ NO Weekend Construction: To ensure a peaceful, easy, and stress-free experience for visitors, there is absolutely no construction work performed on Saturdays or Sundays.

🕒 Normal Business Hours: All of your favorite Main Street retail establishments, boutiques, and restaurants are OPEN and operating under their regular, normal business hours!

❤️ Stay Loyal, Shop Local: Our small business community is the absolute backbone of Branford. They sponsor our local youth teams, give our town its unique shoreline character, and drive our local economy. Honoring 14 Years of Community and Connection

On May 31st, Branford bids a fond farewell to a true local institution. After 14 remarkable years, Home Restaurant will close its doors, leaving behind a lasting legacy of warmth, comfort food, and community spirit.

While the physical doors may be closing, the connections made and the memories shared within those walls will remain a vital part of our town’s history. We celebrate the incredible journey of the Home team and the indelible mark they have left on the heart of Branford.

Since opening its doors, Home has been much more than just a place to eat; it truly lived up to its name, serving as a welcoming "watering hole" and a cornerstone of comfort for our community. Whether it was for their signature comfort food or a friendly chat at the bar, the warmth provided by the management team and staff made it a local staple that will be deeply missed.

Flags on the Branford Green

In celebration of Memorial Day and the 250th Birthday of the United States of America, the Branford Lions Club proudly placed 250 American flags on the Branford Green.

This beautiful display stands in remembrance of our military heroes and in honor of the enduring spirit of our nation.

A special thank you goes to Ron Prior, past president of the Branford Lions Club, who led this meaningful project after being inspired by his recent visit to Arlington National Cemetery. Ron’s vision, along with the dedication of the committee he assembled, made this inspiring tribute a reality for the entire Branford community.

The sea of flags on the Green is a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made for our freedom and a wonderful show of patriotism, pride, and community spirit.
