The cave is a welcome 63 degrees, making it the perfect temperature to visi

t any time of the year. Many have called Talking Rocks Cavern the most beautiful cave they've seen. Enjoy our Picnic Areas, Nature Trails and Lookout Tower, two SpeleoBox Crawl Mazes, Gemstone Panning, Cave Country Mini-Golf, Kids Play Area, Giant Outdoor Checkerboard, and Family Games Area! Some of our amazing staff are celebrating the 105th anniversary of Talking Rocks Cavern, and together, these smiling faces have racked up an incredible 95 years of service! 😄👏

So… does that officially make them fossils? 🤔🦴😂

So thankful for the exploration, determination, & perseverance of the Powell & Herschend families who made this beautiful cavern accessible to millions of guests over the past 105 years!

Opened in 1921 and operated by the Powell family for decades, later it was purchased & operated by Silver Dollar City.

For the past 35 years entrepreneur & visionary Bruce Herschend and his team have overseen the conservation and preservation of this stunning natural wonder. ✨
