Choose Stone County

Behind every decision to Choose Stone County is an opportunity, and helping create those opportunities takes work.

Through Launch Stone County, the Table Rock Lake Chamber of Commerce’s economic development program, the Chamber supports businesses, connects resources, and builds partnerships that help people start, expand, or relocate a business here.

Today’s investor brunch showcased measurable progress from that work and how Choose Stone County helps share our community’s opportunities with businesses and entrepreneurs. It was a proud moment for our county and the partners investing in its future!

Thank you to the Table Rock Career Center for hosting us and to Mrs. Jennifer Noriega and her incredible culinary arts students for the delicious brunch and warm hospitality!

A $150 million investment is a big deal for Stone County.

Announced today, Silver Dollar City is adding Miner’s Mountain Express, a new family coaster opening in 2027. The coaster is part of Silver Dollar City’s larger $150 million investment in the future of the park and our region, which also includes the previously announced Silver Dollar City Resort.

Projects of this scale create jobs, support local businesses, attract visitors, encourage additional private investment and strengthen Stone County’s position as a place where businesses can grow and communities can thrive.

We are grateful for Silver Dollar City’s continued commitment to Stone County and the long-term economic impact this investment will have across our region.

Representatives from all cities in Stone County are invited to participate, along with county leaders, and other taxing entities. The meeting gives everyone a chance to share updates, talk about local needs and find ways to work together.

Choose Stone County, funded through the Launch Stone County economic development campaign, is proud to help bring these groups together through the Table Rock Lake Chamber of Commerce, playing a vital role in moving the county forward.

Tracy, the General Manager of our local Walmart, shares why economic development matters from the perspective of a major local employer.

For businesses like Walmart, growth in Stone County means a stronger workforce, a healthier local economy and more opportunities for the people who live and work here.

Economic development happens when people come to the table, share ideas and work toward common goals. That is where the Chamber plays an important role by bringing businesses, community leaders and partners together to help move Stone County forward.

“Economic development matters to your store.”
Because when our community grows stronger, our businesses do too.
