A $150 million investment is a big deal for Stone County.

Announced today, Silver Dollar City is adding Miner’s Mountain Express, a new family coaster opening in 2027. The coaster is part of Silver Dollar City’s larger $150 million investment in the future of the park and our region, which also includes the previously announced Silver Dollar City Resort.

Projects of this scale create jobs, support local businesses, attract visitors, encourage additional private investment and strengthen Stone County’s position as a place where businesses can grow and communities can thrive.

We are grateful for Silver Dollar City’s continued commitment to Stone County and the long-term economic impact this investment will have across our region.

Today, leaders from across Stone County came together for the quarterly Stone County Intergovernmental Council of Governments meeting.

Representatives from all cities in Stone County are invited to participate, along with county leaders, and other taxing entities. The meeting gives everyone a chance to share updates, talk about local needs and find ways to work together.

Choose Stone County, funded through the Launch Stone County economic development campaign, is proud to help bring these groups together through the Table Rock Lake Chamber of Commerce, playing a vital role in moving the county forward.
