On this I’m proud to have been named a Champion for Protecting Missouri Family Farms by Freedom Principle Missouri.

Growing up on a family farm in rural Stone County, part of which my family still lives on today, I learned both the value of hard work and the challenges that our family farmers face daily.

I was baling hay, fixing fence and working cattle at a young age. We didn’t just buy our farm, we built it, and I’m proud of the work ethic and values that instilled in me.

On this National Agriculture Day, and every day, I’m thankful for the hard work and sacrifice of those who keep our country fed!

You got my vote

This week I filed the Border Security Enhancement Act to protect Missouri from the surge of illegal immigration coming into our country.

Over the past three and a half years, the open border policies of the Biden Administration have led to over 7 million illegal immigrants entering the United States, effectively making every state a border state.

Many of these illegal crossers are single men with criminal records in their home countries, some of whom have also committed crimes in the United States, and are entering for a second or third time. The cautionary tales of illegal immigrants committing violent crimes against innocent Americans are becoming innumerable, and we have to act now with proactive measures to ensure the safety and security of our citizens.

The Border Security Enhancement Act that I have authored is a preemptive step to make Missouri less attractive to those coming into our country illegally. By enhancing penalties for those who are in our state illegally Missouri can make sure that we are closed for business to anyone who wants to come here illegally and commit further crimes.

Some people talk about being tough on the border, but I’m taking action. We can’t wait on the federal government to fix the problem. As a state, Missouri needs to start protecting itself! I look forward to moving this legislation through the House as soon as possible.

This morning I officially filed to become the next State Senator for Missouri’s 33rd District!

Throughout my time in the House, I have worked to represent the will of the people of Southern Missouri, protect our shared values and fight for a brighter future for our state. I look forward to taking those same principles to the Senate as your next District 33 Senator!

I am the true conservative fighter in this race, someone you can always count on to keep you in the know and be a man of my word. My time in Jefferson City hasn’t changed me, I’m not beholden to lobbyists and special interests and I will always put the will of the people FIRST!

I have enjoyed meeting many of you on the campaign trail these last six months since announcing my candidacy, and I can’t wait to meet more of you as the campaign season continues!
